The Curry family is suffering from a severe drought on their ranch. Bill Starbuck- “Rainmaker”, comes to town with the promise to make it rain! Big talkin’ conman? We’re not telling! But the story goes way beyond the problem with the weather. Daughter, Lizzy, is unmarried and prospects don’t look very good for a wedding in her future. The Curry father and brothers are actively looking for a husband for poor plain little Lizzy.
